So I've gotten so many wonderful comments stating that if I ever published a book, they would buy it.Ryuuni is a mutant half-dragon, half-human who was created to be used as a mindless weapon. However, she was born with a conscience and a state of mind and betrays her master, abandoning him and becoming neither evil nor good. Running away and fending only for herself, she is discovered by a group of scouts from a nearby kingdom who capture her and keep her prisoner.

Imprisoned within the dungeon, she refuses to speak to the king who is a stubborn and impatient man who believes that using force on Ryuuni will get her to talk. His two daughters, Annika and Senna, believe that their father is wrong. Annika approaches Ryuuni carefully and gently, showing that she poses no threat. Ryuuni is stunned by such gentle ministrations towards her as she has never felt love, friendship or kindness before. Ryuuni grows close to Annika and Senna but refuses to speak to the king as she believes he has not deserved to hear her voice. The queen of the kingdom, sees that Ryuuni is no demon or monster through her bond with Annika and Senna and grows closer to her as well. Eventually, Ryuuni makes a vow to the two princesses that she will protect them with her life, no matter what.

One day, Annika and Senna were kidnapped to be sold off to the black market. The king and queen, distraught, turn to Ryuuni (still imprisoned because the king doesn't trust her) to save them. The king makes a deal with Ryuuni saying that if she bought back Annika and Senna alive, she would be freed. Ryuuni agrees, angry and sad that they had been taken, and ventures off to bring them home.


Throughout the story, it shows how Ryuuni grows from being a monster to a loving and caring person. The ending, where she goes to find Annika and Senna, demonstrates how she deals with her emotions (from being a demon) and channeling it into either fury or will. Ryuuni discovers emotions and feelings that she had never felt before due to being a creature created for evil. Annika and Senna show Ryuuni that she can love and be kind, that what she is on the outside doesn't mean that is who she is on the inside.
